7th Annual Realtors “Hope For Homeless” Weekend

Friday, April 27th, Saturday, April 28th and Sunday, April 29th

The Realtors Association of Southern Kentucky is collecting non-perishable food items to help feed local families. With your help, they hope to collect over 450,000 servings of food during the weekend. Once collected, all items will be distributed to HOTEL, INC., Bowling Green City Schools, Logan County Schools, Warren County Schools, Edmonson County Schools, Allen County Schools, Simpson County Schools and Butler County Schools for children and families that need these items most.

Camping, Collecting and Caring at the Corner on Campbell!

Beginning with the ribbon cutting at 11am on Friday, April 27th, Realtors Association members and volunteers will begin collecting the needed non-perishables and monetary donations all through the day and all through the night…all the way through Sunday evening the 29th at 6pm. Just look for the big tent between Trees & Trends and Farmers National Bank at 1515 Campbell Lane in Bowling Green.

NEW! Collection points at nearby Walmart stores!

To help with the collection of non-perishable items for “Hope For Homeless”, there will be collection sites at both Bowling Green Walmart stores Sunday, April 29th from 12 noon to 4pm for added convenience!

List of needed non-perishable items

Soups (chicken or beef with noodles or rice)

Peanut Butter (chunky or smooth)

Cereals

Snacks (cereal bars, crackers with peanut butter or cheese)

Cans of fruit (peaches, pineapple, mixed fruit)

Fruit snacks (rollups, strips and gummies)

Ready-to-eat meals (mac & cheese cups, chili, ravioli, beef stew, mashed potatoes)

Jelly and jams (strawberry, cherry, grape)

Canned meats (chicken, vienna sausages, tuna)

Ready to heat sauces with or without meat (spaghetti, alfredo)

Pasta (spaghetti, elbow macaroni)
